News Flash: You're Not Too Late Until You're Dead

A common response from people about the prospect of starting their own business with Life's Abundance is that it's "too late". Excuse me, but too late for what?

  • To earn extra income?
  • To have a flexible schedule?
  • To do something you enjoy?
  • To be your own boss?
  • To meet new people?
  • To recommend products that contribute to a healthful way of living?
  • To help people who love their pets feed them better so they can enjoy them longer?

I've always been a late-bloomer. I didn't get my act together to really get in shape until I was almost 50. I don't even want to imagine how miserable my life would be if I had taken the "it's too late" approach to adopting a much healthier lifestyle. I've had a pretty successful career as an employee. I probably could have said "it's too late" to think about another career opportunity, and no one would question that. But you know what? I said yes. Yes to the opportunity of adding to what will be my retirement income. Yes to filling my spare time--even when it's scarce--to doing something I really enjoy. Yes to making decisions about how I'll share my story, my brand, and these awesome products. Yes to meeting new people in the form of customers, prospects, and teammates. Yes to using and recommending a line of clean nutritional supplements that make a difference in my life, and yes to giving my dogs what I believe to be the most wholesome and nutritious food, treats and supplements available.

Do you think you're too late? You're not. And you can do this. I'm waiting for your "yes" at happyvalleyhealthy@gmail.com

Confessions of a Late Bloomer

I was out of high school before I had my first date.

I didn't get married until I was in my 40s.

It took being prescribed blood pressure medicine, anti-anxiety drugs and my mother's death, which was complicated by congestive heart failure, to wake me up to the need for correcting my own health through better nutrition and regular exercise.

And, it took until now to find and join this amazing collection of people that we call "Team Diamond Mine".  These people are yoga instructors, health coaches, nutrition experts, pet care providers, massage therapists, and regular people like me who are balancing an "8 to 5" with the work that brings us together. That work--and it IS work, although it's more gratifying to me than I ever could have imagined--is being an independent representative for the family of Life's Abundance products.

Now before you get all weirded out about direct marketing or conjure up some illusion of a pyramid scheme, let me say that this is not a "get rich quick" proposition. Like anything worthwhile in life, what you get out of it is what you put into it. But when the company, the products, and the people with whom you're associated click with you and ignite that spark that you thought you might have lost or didn't know you ever had--well then, it's really not an effort at all. You WANT to work at it.

I joined Life's Abundance voluntarily in 2016 without being "recruited". I was looking for something (dog food, initially) but I found a whole lot more than kibble. I found more confidence. I found clarity. I found greater purpose. I've enhanced my health, and from all signals, I've improved the health and appearance of my canine sidekick. I've started an additional income stream. I've helped others whose health I care about, and helped their pets who mean so much to them. And guess what? I'm ready to start having a few committed people join me. If affiliating yourself with an employee-owned company with a commitment to clean, healthy nutrition for people and animals sounds good to you, if extra money sounds good to you, if helping other people on their own journey to better health and fitness is appealing to you, let's talk. In the meantime I want to share with you some of the other awesome people that I'm so fortunate to be aligned with as part of Team Diamond Mine. You could be the next shiny diamond!
